used to describe a product that is available immediately and does not need to be specially made to suit a particular purpose

 

기성품의 (바로 구할수 있거나 특정 목적에 맞게 특별히 만들어질 필요가 없는 제품을 묘사할 때 사용)

 

 

Example)

 

We can build a specialized part for you, but an off-the-shelf product will probably cost less.

 

당신에게 특별 부품을 제작해 줄 수 있지만 기성제품이 아마 비용이 덜 들어갈 것입니다.

 

 

I usually buy off-the-shelf clothing. I am a perfect size eight.
