(A. doing something) is one thing. (B. doing something else) is another.

 

used to say that doing one thing is very different from doing another thing, especially where the second thing is more difficult, important, or serious

 

A와 B는 다르다.

 

(A를 하는 것은 B하는 것과는 다르다는 것을 말할 때 사용하는 것으로, 특히 B가 좀 더 어렵고 중요하거나 심각한 것을 나타낼 때 사용한다)

 

 

Example)

 

Making money is one thing. Saving money is another.

 

돈을 버는 것과 저축하는 건 다른거야. (돈 버는 것보다 저축하는게 더 힘들어)

 

 

Setting goals is one thing. Achieving them is another.
